Outprobe Refund Policy

Overview

This refund policy applies to Outprobe Premium subscriptions purchased through Google Play or any other supported payment method.


1. Outprobe Premium Subscriptions

1.1 How Billing Works

  • Outprobe Premium is a recurring subscription (monthly or annual)
  • Payment is processed through Google Play Billing
  • Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings or through Google Play

1.2 Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • You retain Premium benefits until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges are made after cancellation
  • After your billing period ends, your account reverts to the free tier
  • Existing data is preserved (see Graceful Degradation in our Terms of Service)

Cancellation is not the same as a refund. Cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.


2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Automatic Refund (Within 48 Hours)

If you purchased Outprobe Premium and request a refund within 48 hours of your initial purchase, we will process a full refund, no questions asked.

This applies to:

  • First-time Premium purchases only
  • Not applicable to subscription renewals

2.2 Refund Through Google Play

Since Outprobe Premium is purchased through Google Play, you can also request a refund directly through Google:

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Go to your account > Subscriptions
  3. Find Outprobe Premium
  4. Request a refund through Google's process

Google has its own refund policies and may process refunds independently of Outprobe.

2.3 Case-by-Case Refunds

Beyond the 48-hour window, refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis for:

3. How to Request a Refund

3.1 Through Outprobe

Email support@outprobe.com with:

  • Subject line: "Refund Request"
  • Your Outprobe username
  • Email associated with your account
  • Date of purchase
  • Reason for refund request
  • Google Play order ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)

Response time: Within 7 business days.

3.2 Through Google Play

Follow Google Play's refund process:

  1. Visit play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions
  2. Find Outprobe Premium
  3. Select "Request a refund"

Google processes refund requests independently and may have different criteria.


4. How Refunds Are Processed

5. What Happens After a Refund

When a refund is processed:

  • Your Premium benefits are removed immediately (or at the end of current period if partial refund)
  • Your account reverts to the free tier
  • Explorer Stones you placed are removed from communities
  • Community creation limit returns to 2 (existing communities are preserved)
  • Circle member limit returns to 160 (existing members are preserved)
  • You begin seeing ads again in free communities

We never delete your data or communities because of a refund. Graceful degradation applies — everything is preserved, just with free-tier limits.


6. Explorer Stones After Refund

  • Stones you placed on communities are removed
  • Communities may drop tiers as a result
  • This is the same behavior as when a Premium subscription expires naturally

7. Future Payment Methods

When Outprobe introduces additional payment methods (web payments via Stripe/Razorpay), this refund policy will be updated to include those platforms. The core principles remain the same:

  • 48-hour no-questions refund on initial purchase
  • Case-by-case after that
  • Graceful degradation on account reversion

8. Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision:

  1. Reply to the support email with additional context
  2. We will have a different team member review your case
  3. Final response within 14 business days

If still unresolved, you may file a dispute through Google Play's dispute resolution process.
